The follow up for Cairnuary .

2 peaks a month till November finishing with Donard in December .This will give us 22 peaks in the year and a great all round explore of the mournes from the “Low Mournes” round Rostrevor to the “High Mournes” nearer Newcastle.

You will need at least.

• Proper full body cover at all times , the mournes are unpredictable.
• Compass, Map( Mournes Activity Map) , Whistle , Mobile Phone .
• Preferably a companion .If not always tell someone where you are going .
• Food and water .

As the mountains get higher you will need to get fitter, hopefully Cairnuary will stand you in good stead .
